Climate change is well established today and the undue effects of these phenomena look spectacular. The average temperature has increased by 0.8 ° C since 1870 and the sea level rose by 17cm according to the latest report of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). The developing countries are the most vulnerable to extreme effects of climate change and suffer the consequences created by emissions from developed countries.

Chronicle of a global mobilization around a historic summit
On 23 September 2014, the planet has an appointment with destiny. Motivated by the climate issue, the Summit of Heads of States and Governments will focus on New York. In the four (4) corners of the globe, mobilization continues to grow. It's on September 2013 that the Secretary General of the UN, Mr. Ban Ki-moon convened the Extraordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government, to build political will in favor of a multilateral agreement on post-2020 regime.

Access to water and sanitation in Cameroon, as in most African countries problems arise not only in terms of availability of resources but also in terms of managing them. It is then necessary that deep reforms in management practices are needed to improve access to clean water and sanitation to the whole population, if not the majority.
