Lomé, November 19, 2014: In May 2014, two Indian cousins girls, 12 and 14 years old, were raped by several men and then hanged in a village in Uttar Pradesh. What caused this crime? They were out of their homes at night in search of a place to relieve themselves, with no sanitary at home

The recent Climate summit in New York, initiated by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, brought together over 120 heads of state and Ministers, leaders of multilateral organizations, civil society and private sector leaders from across the globe in a bid to mobilize the political will for a meaningful agreement on climate change in 2015 and also to encourage pledges to the Green Climate Fund (GCF). Calling on world leaders to take serious actions and demonstrate concrete commitments, the conference highlighted the need to move this agenda forward.

JVE International since its creation in 2001 in Togo has grown to have more than 24 national representations in Africa. JVE became a legally established international organization during the international General Assembly organized in Kara, Togo in 2012. It is now a big success and a question of pride for the Board and the members in general.
